Juan Beltran is a newcomer to Club Jollyville. Prior to joining, he spent five seasons coaching 15-18 boys club volleyball in Spain for Club Voleibol Bunyola. In just his second season as a head coach, his team advanced to Nationals. He also coached the adult team for CV Bunyola, which played in the first division in Mallorca. For his last season in Spain he was selected to be the assistant coach for the 15 year old Mallorca State Team, which played in the Spain Championships. Juan also has several years of experience coaching summer camps for junior boys and girls.

Juan has 17 years of playing experience, both indoor and beach, beginning at age 16. As a junior indoor player, he led his team to two top ten finishes at Nationals, 5th and 7th. He has been a setter in semi-pro leagues for two clubs in Spain as an adult, Calvia Volleyball and CV Bunyola. After moving to Texas, Juan continues to set for his men’s USAV team. As a junior beach player, he won the Balearic Island State Championship and placed 5th at Nationals. In college, Juan again placed 5th at Nationals after winning his university’s tournament. He has won numerous Open and A level tournaments in Mallorca, Austin, and San Antonio.
